COVID-19 SCREENING & PROTOCOLS
All individuals coming onsite to the Temerty Centre must complete the online UHN Screening tool upon arriving onsite and entering through the Michener screening process at Front Desk / Reception. When you enter, you will need to sanitize, replace your mask with a mask provided and show your green PASS (via the online tool) to the Front Desk / Reception employee. Upon completing these steps you will be required to sign-in. Access to the Temerty Centre is restricted, all individuals coming onsite will be escorted by Centre staff and/or a designated event contact. Elevator capacities (maximum of 5) must be followed. Masks must be worn at all times and social distancing should be adhered to as best as possible.
COVID-19 CONTACT TRACING
All event organizers are required to maintain a delegate/faculty list, vendor list and an organizer list with, names, email and phone numbers should contact tracing be required. A delegate/faculty list refers to both the individuals who have registered for the event and those that are speaking at it, the vendor list refers to all individuals who will be onsite to support and/or attend the event and the organizer list refers to all individuals who are running/organizing the event. These lists are required to be submitted to the Centre Manager on Day 1 of the event, the Manager will then hold the data in a secure place (either physically or electronically) for 60 days post event. After 60 days, the lists will be destroyed and/or deleted.
COVID-19 VACCINATION
As mandated by UHN’s vaccination policy, effective October 22, 2021, all individuals coming onsite to The Temerty Centre must have received all required doses of a Health Canada approved COVID-19 vaccine. If the event is an internal UHN/Michener event with all internal UHN/Michener delegates/faculty, no proof of vaccination is required as this information is already captured and held by UHN Health Services. Showing your Michener and/or UHN badge at Michener Front Desk/Reception acts as your proof of vaccination. Should the event have external delegates/faculty/vendors participating, all individuals coming onsite must be able to show proof of a Health Canada approved COVID-19 vaccine (photo / QR and or physical proof) along with photo ID. If individuals who are not able to provide this at Michener Front Desk / Reception they will be denied entrance into the building. All individuals coming onsite for an event are considered “Business Visitors” as you are attending the site in a professional, regulatory and/or administrative capacity.
